Teaching is my passion! I have worked with children for what seems to be my entire life. As an educator, I have always put my students first. Through Horton Tutoring, I have the ability to work with Pre-Kindergarten through High School-aged children on academic areas in which students need support. I provide Academic Remediation, Academic Enrichment, and Homework Support.
My tutoring programs provide services to students of all learning needs, including addressing all core academic subjects, homework support, study skills, organizational skills, and test taking skills.
Horton Tutoring provides Remediation, Enrichment, and Homework Support for children who attend public schools, charter schools, private schools, or who are homeschooled. All students will benefit and excel from personalized individual program to meet their specific learning goals, objectives, and needs in all areas of their current curriculum.
I am an experienced, California state credentialed professional with a heartfelt enthusiasm for teaching. I have experiences with children in the general education classroom, as well as experience with children with special needs. I posses a Masters degree in Reading, Language, and Literacy, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, a Multiple-Subject California State Teaching Credential, and a Reading Specialist California State Teaching Credential.
I look forward to providing custom lessons, using the current Common Core Standards, to meet your child's individual needs.
